Thinking Outside the Tee Box – Business Professionals Needed

September 15, 2012

The 9th Annual Thinking Outside The Tee Box will be hosted on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at Rich Harvest Farms in Sugar Grove, Illinois.

This event is a unique mentoring activity that pairs a successful female Business Professional with a female program participant between the ages of 11 and 17. This event not only teaches young females the importance of golf in the business world, but also provides them with lasting career advice from prominent female Business Professionals. Thinking Outside The Tee Box consists of a scramble event, luncheon, and more.

Date: Saturday, September 15, 2012
Time: 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (subject to change)
Location: Rich Harvest Farms, Sugar Grove, IL

Other important Information for Business Professionals:

- Business Professionals will be matched with program participants based on the girls’ career interests and hobbies. The invitation is not a first-come-first-serve basis, but rather on the quality of match that exists with the pre-selected girls.

- Golf ability is NOT important, the event is not scored. Participants play a fun scramble format to encourage conversation and communication.

- There is NO entry fee for Business Professionals who are interested.

- The male version of this event will be hosted Saturday, May 19, 2012. If you have any male colleagues that may be interested in participating, please have them visit the “Become A Volunteer” page for Other Side Of The Green.
